Living Here
Located in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Silverton Health’s service area is truly in the center of everything.
Silverton, Oregon is an idyllic community of 7,500, nestled in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Named Oregon’s Garden City, Silverton is home to Silver Falls State Park, The Oregon Garden Resort, a vibrant downtown rich in art and dining, and is just minutes from Oregon’s agricultural and viticultural epicenter.
Portland, Oregon’s largest city, lies just 30 miles north of our clinics in Woodburn. A rare mix of cosmopolitan living and Northwest moxie, Portland is home to a rich cultural scene, world-renown dining, and the unique charm of simple, conscious living that can only be found here, at the end of the Oregon Trail. Many of our specialty physicians choose to live in Portland or suburban communities to the south, such as Lake Oswego or Wilsonville.
Silverton, Oregon is an affluent small town with a charming agricultural tradition. The majority of our medical staff make their homes here and in surrounding communities — benefitting from the local commitment to schools and the arts.
The Willamette Valley’s location in the center of Oregon gives us unparalleled access to the Oregon Coast (one hour west); Mt. Hood (one hour north); Columbia Gorge (one hour east) and miles of cyclist-friendly roads, running and hiking trails, golf courses and wineries.
